Description of the Role:

In this role, you will provide care and support to clients in various healthcare settings, including nursing homes, general hospitals, private clinics (including addiction care), psychiatric hospitals, and disability care institutions. We offer comprehensive support throughout the recruitment process, including job matching and housing assistance. A willingness to learn basic Dutch is a great advantage!
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Care:
- Ensure the general well-being of clients by providing high-quality nursing care.
- Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and implement nursing interventions based on clinical reasoning and nursing diagnoses.
- Perform nursing tasks including intramuscular/subcutaneous injections, catheterization, wound care, intravenous injections, tube feeding, and oxygen administration.
- Engage in conversations with clients, their families, and other healthcare providers to support and manage care.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Communicate proactively and build positive relationships with clients, their networks, and healthcare teams.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.
- Collect and analyze information to make informed decisions and follow procedures with attention to detail.
- Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of care provided.
- Follow instructions and adhere to healthcare procedures and protocols.
- Ensure compliance with professional standards and regulations.
- Professional Development:
- Continuously develop your skills and knowledge through training and professional development opportunities.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in healthcare practices.
Requirements:
- Qualifications:
- MBO or HBO diploma in nursing.
- Identification and Certificate of Conduct (CGC).
- Certificate of Current Professional Status (CCPS).
- BIG registration is required (supervision will be provided as needed).
- Proficiency in English is essential; willingness to learn Dutch (NT2 exam may be required at a later stage, B1, B2, or C1 level depending on the position).
