Job Description: We are seeking qualified Basic Physicians (ANIOS) for our esteemed client in the Netherlands. Our client collaborates with healthcare organizations and professionals to ensure the best match for various healthcare settings, including general practice, hospitals, mental health care, and addiction care.
As a Basic Physician, you will be responsible for initial medical care, supporting diagnosis, and treatment of patients. You will work under the supervision of an experienced doctor and be part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare.
Responsibilities:
- Patient Care:
- Perform medical histories and physical examinations of patients.
- Make preliminary diagnoses and draw up treatment plans under supervision.
- Perform medical procedures such as blood collection, wound care, and administering medication.
- Diagnosis and Treatment:
- Interpret laboratory results, imaging, and other diagnostic tests.
- Guide and inform patients about their medical condition, treatment options, and prognosis.
- Refer patients to specialists if necessary.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration:
- Work with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses, specialists, and paramedics, to ensure an integrated care approach.
- Participate in multidisciplinary consultations and case discussions.
- Administration and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
- Write medical reports and draw up referral letters.
- Ensure correct registration of care provided in electronic patient files (EPD).
- Training and Development:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical knowledge and developments through further training and participation in courses.
- Participate in internal training activities and supervision.
Qualifications:
- Completed medical education.
- BIG registration as a basic doctor; if necessary, this will be supervised by our employment group.
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Proficient in English and willing to learn Dutch as quickly as possible.
- Experience as a basic doctor is an advantage, but recent graduates are also encouraged to apply.
- Experience working in a clinical setting or general practice is a plus.
